Emeritus professor specializing in the fields of consciousness psychology, psychotherapy and its modern scientific principles.
Giselher Guttmann has been a member of the mathematical and natural science class of the Austrian Academy of Sciences since 1983. In 2005, he became founding dean of the Sigmund Freud Private University, where he also is head of the department for neuroscientific basics of psychotherapy. Giselher Guttmann also worked as scientific director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Consciousness Psychology and Transcultural Psychotherapy and as President of the Austrian Institute Society for Scientific Hypnosis.
