The goal

Whoever manages to look at themselves more objectively not only gains a new perspective but also unlocks unexpected potential. This program helps you step out of your comfort zone and gain deeper insights under the guidance of leading experts. Topics such as energy management, responsibility, resilience, and lifelong learning prepare you for a one-week “change of perspective.” During this time, you will come into contact with different life realities that will broaden your horizons. A subsequent reflection will provide impulses for responsible action, the meaning of life, and energy balance—above all, it will help you gain a clearer understanding of yourself in life.

The program spans two years and includes two on-site seminar weeks at Schloss Freudenfels and a one-week “change of perspective” in a social institution.

Module 1

Mindfulness and Resilience.Armor for difficult life situations.

Finding purpose and meaning in one's actions makes one less likely to be easily shaken. This module provides the necessary skills for mindfulness, which means being consciously and fully present in one's (work)day, and resilience, maintaining a positive mindset in difficult life situations.

Module 2

Responsibility.From Thinking to Action.

We take the time for fundamental philosophical discussions on the topic “Responsibility—From Thinking to Action: Responsibility as a Social Practice.” You will discuss, especially considering your own experiences, what it means to assume responsibility, where it begins, and—importantly—where it ends.

Energy Management.

Module 3

Energy Management.Only those with strength can move.

This module provides you with the tools to manage your personal sources of strength and reserves. The ideal balance between activity and regeneration, a dynamic start to the day, proper rest at night, the right nourishment for body and mind—all of these are crucial for your energy management. All of these aspects will be integrated throughout both seminar weeks.

Module 4

Never Stop Learning.The miracle that is consciousness.

Everything originates from our mind. But how does it work? What is our brain actually doing? This module delves into these questions and many others. Firstly, we focus on learning how to learn—why it is important, how to maintain curiosity, and what techniques and tricks can be used to create optimal conditions. Then we shift our attention to music—how it influences our mood, what happens in the brain, and how you can harness its benefits for yourself.
